Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and a password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text). We also store your selected trading style, your watchlists and the symbols on them, and your subscription status. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details (card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by our payment processor, Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use it

We use this information to operate the Service: authenticating you, showing your watchlists and fundamentals ratings, personalizing the AI's explanations to your trading style, processing subscription payments, and communicating with you about your account. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-party services

We share limited data with the following service providers:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
• Supabase — our database host, storing account and application data.
• Anthropic — generates the plain-English fundamentals explanations. We send stock symbols and financial metrics, not your personal information, in these requests.
• TradingView — provides the embedded charts and price quotes. Your browser loads them directly from TradingView, which receives your IP address and the symbol you are viewing. TradingView states its widgets do not set cookies.
• U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) — public company filings are the source of the fundamentals we score. We do not send your personal information to the SEC.
• Resend — sends account emails such as password resets and email confirmation, so it receives your email address.
• Vercel — hosts the application.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain records (for example, billing records) for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

You can access or update most of your account information from within the app. To request a copy of your data or to request deletion of your account, contact us at the email address below.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post an update on this page.
